The rocky tombs date back to the 8th up to 9th centuries, probably made by a group of hermits who went to the surrounding valleys very often. The niches carved into the rock, followed by a small chapel, were intended to contain the mortal remains of the dead in the evocative beauty of this small valley eroded by the river Alento. The graves are visible going along a short path punctuated by a bridge and surrounded by vegetation and small waterfalls.
